Nice to meet you! I'm Jenn Baker of Eight Hundred Furniture, LLC. My business began when I moved into my first apartment. I had 800 square feet of space to furnish and an even smaller decorating budget! My necessity for thrifty decorating turned into a love for transforming outdated and unwanted furniture into gorgeous masterpieces with Milk Paint and quality wood stains. After I married my hunky hockey-playing husband, Marc, I left my career in education and began building Eight Hundred Furniture from the ground up. Now, I'm a proud retailer of General Finishes and Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint products. First of all, great class! I learned a ton! All this time, I totally was doing wet edge wrong (don't ask!). One of the biggest lessons I'm learning and you reinforced is PATIENCE! I try to rush too often and end up shooting myself in the foot - costing time, money, product, frustration! Also, I LOVE that you left your mistake in the video. LOVE IT!!!! Too many times, I make a mistake and don't know how to fix it, feels like a ding dong, have no one to commiserate with, let alone ask for advice.
